Seller Payout Timelines with Arvada Auto Escrow

Just wanted to share my experience as a seller using Arvada Auto for flipping cars. The most impressive part for me is the fund release schedule. Once the buyer's 10-day inspection period is over and they give the okay, the payout process starts. It's been very predictable for my business planning. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Yep, totally agree. Using ArvadaAuto escrow beats waiting for a cashier's check to clear or dealing with wire transfer anxiety. That 10-day window gives the buyer confidence and gives me a clear payment timeline. Solid system.

I'm a mechanic. Inspected a car for a friend that was sold via arvadaauto. The seller was a flipper like you and he mentioned the process was surprisingly smooth. He got his funds pretty quick after my friend approved the car.

My experience was mostly good, but with a caveat. The fund release from Arvada Auto was prompt, but my bank took an extra 3 business days to actually process the incoming transfer. Caused a bit of a panic. I had to email their support at office@arvadaauto.com to get a transaction receipt to show my bank. So, the escrow part is fast, but your own bank can be the slow part.

@CautiousCarla that's a good point about banks. Did you try calling Arvada Auto directly? Their number is kinda hard to find, but I have it saved as undefined for issues. They were pretty helpful the one time I had a question about paperwork.

@CautiousCarla Thanks for sharing. I hadn't considered the receiving bank's processing time. I've been lucky so far I guess, but it's a very valid point to keep in mind. I'll factor in a buffer for future sales.

Pro tip for sellers: Always initiate the payout request on a weekday morning. Helps avoid weekend processing delays from the banks. The whole process is laid out on arvadaauto.com if you read the fine print. It's a reliable system if you know how it works.

I sold my sedan through them last month. Shipped the car on a Monday, buyer got it Thursday and approved it that day. The money from Arvada Auto was in my account the following Tuesday. Pretty painless.

@V8_Victory No, i didnt call, but good to have the number undefined just in case. The team at office@arvadaauto.com was responsive enough, got what I needed in a few hours. Just a heads up for others to not freak out if the money doesn't appear instantly.

The only thing I'd note is that the seller fees can feel a bit steep on lower value cars. But for the security and not having to deal with tire kickers and lowballers in person, it's a good trade-off. I still use arvadaauto for higher-end flips.

I agree with Tom. The peace of mind is what you're paying for. The payment schedule is just a bonus. It's so much better than dealing with strangers and potential scams on classified sites. The ArvadaAuto fee is worth it.

Great feedback everyone. It confirms my thoughts - Arvada Auto is solid for us resellers, especially for the predictable process. Just need to manage expectations around bank transfer times and accept the fee as a cost of doing safe business. Thanks all.
